The Novolipski breg source is located near the village of Nova lipa in the municipality of Črnomelj. At the bottom of the 12-meter deep abyss, there is a karst spring connected to an underground stream. This stream flows towards Starolipski Breg and further towards the springs of Nerajčica. The water in the spring rarely dries. With heavy rainfall, it rises from the abyss and floods the surrounding area.

In the past, the locals surrounded the spring with a 4-meter-high circular stone sheath. They also built stone steps and a retaining wall. This allowed access to the spring. The pump at the top was built after 1945. The water source was restored in 2011 as part of the Sources of Life project.
